Accompanied by a player of nora, a player of n’goni and two chorus singers, Salif Keita starts his Acoustic Tour with a repertoire sweeping over some thirty years.

After exploring different musical styles (Malian, Cuban and Zairian influences), the artist has decided to return to a more intimate and acoustic formula. A return to his roots. A sensational retrospective through which Salif Keita brings spectators into the heart of the modern soul of Mandingo music. Known for his exceptional musical talent – his album Soro released in 1987 is one of the cult discs of world music – and for his commitment to help Malian children, especially albinos like him, the artist with a big heart embarked on this European tour without any new discography. A unique opportunity to (re) discover the one that has been dubbed the “golden voice of Africa”.

Dates to discover more about him:

July 13, 2017 in Madrid (Spain), Alfonso XIII Botanico Garden – Universidad Complutense of Madrid
