Art, fashion, design, music … In full effervescence, Africa overflows with an energy that is both inspired and inspiring.

This dynamic emerging scene is celebrated at the Galeries Lafayette. The store has invited many creatives to occupy spaces in all the stores. Nigerian photographer Lakin Ogunbawo has exhibited his works in the shop’s windows, Malagasy artist Joël Andrianomearisoa has settled down under the Dome and the German-cameroonian curator Marie-Ann Yemsi has invited a whole new generation of artists from the continent to exhibit their works in the Galerie des Galeries. This exhibition, Le jour qui vient (The next day), initially scheduled until June 10, is extended until July 29, 2017.
