The Bibliotheca Alexandrina @bibalexofficial is a spectacular, state-of-the-art and major library and cultural center on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea in Alexandria, Egypt. It is a commemoration of the Library of Alexandria, once one of the largest and most significant libraries of the world, which disappeared in a fire during Antiquity.
It was built by the transdisciplinary firm Snøhetta.

La Bibliothèque d’Alexandrie @bibalexofficial est une bibliothèque et un centre culturel majeur, spectaculaire et ultramoderne, située au bord de la mer Méditerranée à Alexandrie, en Égypte. Elle commémore la Bibliothèque d’Alexandrie, autrefois l’une des plus grandes et des plus importantes bibliothèques du monde, disparue dans un incendie durant l’Antiquité. Elle a été construite par le cabinet transdisciplinaire Snøhetta.
