Ryad Dyor: a riad of character

Recently opening its doors is the Ryad Dyor hotel, which has quickly risen as one of the trendiest spots to stay in for visitors to Marrakech.  Designed by Yvonna Hulst and Alberto Cortes (who had previously remodeled eight luxury villas in Ibiza), and managed by the Dutchman Paul Levelled, this site, located in the heart of the Medina, elegantly joins together two riads, transforming them into a wonderful boutique hotel charged with personality.

This little piece of paradise is situated about a half mile from Koutoubia and Jemaa el-Fina Square. Just a few minutes away from the first row of souks, you will discover the lively streets and alleyways of the Medina—a unique location that appears stuck in time. From the rooftop, you can gaze upon the Atlas Mountains, often snow-capped in the winter, which serve as a backdrop to the Koutoubia mosque and the thousand other rooftops that bask here under the starlight.
