Charles Harbison is the man behind his eponymous design brand, HARBISON. His designs have graced runways and red carpets alike, accompanying amazing women including Beyoncé, Solange, and Meghan Markle. The Los Angeles-based designer discussed what was trending in fashion back in 2018, the importance of designing for Black women, and why he doesn’t look to Hollywood to dress some of its hottest stars.
