What convinced you to work with Black Up?
Black Up is a high-end make-up range designed for the black and mixed-race beauty market. I particularly like that it has remained faithful to its identity, by offering good quality, highly pigmented products in vibrant colors, which all importantly are adapted to our skin’s specific needs. Myself, I use Black Up foundation and lip products.
Why a highlighter?
Firstly, there was no equivalent product in Black Up’s range until now. Secondly, most highlighters on the market have been launched by brands for white skin. In contrast, the four highlighters that we have selected for this palette will subtly illuminate and enhance all skin tones. We worked on pearly, reflective tones, which give real radiance and a highly trendy, glowing finish. We are even prouder of this product because it is 100% vegan and not tested on animals.
How do you define a beautiful woman?
Above all, I think a woman is beautiful if she accepts herself as she is, if she is unapologetic. If she is confident and perfectly at ease with her identity. If she doesn’t fit any mold, if what matters is her… Then yes, to me, that woman is beautiful.
