Paris through its artists

MOYI has decided to seek out a few African artists who live, work, and exhibit in Paris.

While these men and women have a variety of talents and come from different backgrounds, the one thing they have in common is their place of origin and the experience of living in exile, whether voluntarily or not. We won’t reduce them to a set of stereotypes or define them by their countries of birth, though their origins are important. In reality, they are first and foremost “simply” artists.

The artists in this feature are: Afi Nayo, Antonia Neyrins,  Pat Masioni, Tchif, and Yao Metsoko.
